Paper Planes Baby & Child

working-parenthood

Working parenthood is demanding. It requires one person to do two challenging jobs well, and in an always-on world.

As in any “extreme” job, some degree of fatigue, stress, and self-doubt — of general overwhelmedness — is inevitable.

The problem isn’t in your organizational system or work ethic — it’s in how human brains are wired. It’s normal to feel overwhelmed, with so much to do and so many demands on you.

But the more you can set your own course, make affirmative decisions aligned to it, have confidence in your performance, and enjoy yourself along the way, the better off you, your career, and your family will be (easier said than done of course!).
