Baladi Baby Tummy Time Book
Why Is Tummy Time Essential?
Tummy Time Aids Motor Development: One of the primary reasons tummy time is so important is that it contributes to your baby’s motor skill development. When your baby is placed on their tummy, they gradually learn to lift their head, push up on their arms, and eventually roll over. These milestones are crucial for building muscle strength and coordination.
Tummy Time Strengthens Core Muscles: Tummy time isn’t just about building strong little arms and legs; it’s also about developing core muscles. As your baby pushes against the floor, they engage their abdominal muscles, which is essential for future actions like sitting and crawling.
Prevents Flat Head Syndrome: Another significant benefit of tummy time is its role in preventing flat head syndrome (positional plagiocephaly). When babies spend extended periods lying on their backs, they are at risk of developing a flat spot on their head. Tummy time gives them a break from that position and allows their head to round out naturally.
Enhances Visual and Cognitive Development: During tummy time, babies get a different perspective of the world around them. They can see and explore their surroundings, which is excellent for their visual and cognitive development. It encourages them to reach for objects and stimulates their curiosity.

Baladi Baby A story woven from love, family, and culture, now a mission to share the beauty of Omani's heritage with the next generation.
Ahlaam Al Khabori, the founder of Baladi Baby an Omani mother who wanted to give her children something meaningful — products that reflect who they are and where they come from. After having kids, Ahlaam searched for baby products that carried Omani stories, Omani colors, Omani culture and she was disappointed to find that there really was not enough out there. That emptiness stayed with her, so she decided to create the things she wished existed — not just for her children, but for every child who deserves to grow up feeling proud of their roots.
There is nothing more important to her than creating products that nurture pride, self-love, and self-acceptance in our children.
Ahlaam want them to grow up seeing their culture as something beautiful — something to celebrate.
